The big water issues facing Texas: drought, development, and inequitable water risk, all need major policy solutions that rely on effective planning and implementation. Texas Living Waters is at the center of a wide variety of efforts to ensure these solutions move forward and benefit all the communities and ecosystems of Texas. We do this by convening large coalitions of stakeholder organizations to advocate for policy reform and by working with regional and local planning groups to ensure an equitable, localized, and secure water future emerges across the state.
