She joined Sierra Club’s Lone Star Chapter as a Water Program Coordinator to advance the protection of Texas water resources and advocate for a future where water symbolizes harmony, justice, and shared responsibility. Her professional journey involves leading various conservation projects and conducting public outreach to educate community residents and policymakers about water quality, fostering collective action to safeguard the “lifeblood” of the Lone Star State. In her current role, Evgenia develops educational campaigns focusing on surface water quality standards, ensuring that everyone has a voice in shaping the future of Texas water. Having lived in Russia and Ukraine, Evgenia found her home in Texas where she could pursue her passion for environmental protection
