The 2024 Central Texas Water Conservation Symposium was held on March 19 at the Austin Central Library. It provided water utilities with the information needed to implement successful water conservation programs, effectively engage customers, and plan for the future. Participants learned about water conservation issues and challenges in the face of climate impacts such as extended drought and heatwaves. The event also featured a tour of the library’s onsite water reuse system, which helps the City of Austin meet its conservation and reuse goals.
